The South African Institute of Race Relations warns that fraud and corruption in the African National Congress could compromise the rule of law in the country.
The South African Institute of Race Relations (SAIRR) has warned that fraud and corruption in the African National Congress (ANC) could compromise the rule of law in the country.

“That the ANC was aware of the corrupt dealings of the man they appointed as their spokesperson to convey their election manifesto promise to act against corruption, is beyond scandalous", says SAIRR deputy CEO, Frans Cronje.

When the ruling party shows a disregard for the rule of law that same disregard will begin to manifest itself in government, Cronje says.
