No Need for Alarm Over Mdluli – Zuma
Thursday, May 17, 2012 - 16:09
President Jacob Zuma says there is ‘no need for alarm’ regarding former crime intelligence head, Lieutenant General Richard Mdluli.
Zuma points out that, "Our country has enough instruments to ensure that there is no abuse of power or resources to further any objectives, especially by our intelligence and security services."
His comments follow the launch of an interdict application against Mdluli and Police Minister, Nathi Mthethwa, by lobby group, Freedom Under Law (FUL), which is led by retired Constitutional Court judge, Johann Kriegler.
