Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) have urged the Zimbabwe African National Union - Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF) and Movement for Democratic Change (MDC-T) to desist from political violence ahead of their respective congresses.
Chairperson of the National Association of Non-Governmental Organisations (NANGO), Paul Juru, says that political violence erodes investor confidence.
"Intra-party violence in MDC and ZANU-PF creates political uncertainty. The general population may continue wallowing in poverty due to lack of investors to cushion our ailing economy if this issue is not dealt with,” he explains.
