The United Youths Collective from Congo/Kinshasa (COJESKI), a Congolese NGO, has made several recommendations to President Joseph Kabila and the Congolese government for the restoration of peace in the North and South Kivu provinces.

In a statement, the NGO threatened to launch a petition for the resignation of Kabila and his government if in the next three months, they are not capable of restoring peace in the east of the country.

COJESKI national coordinator Fernandez Murhola says that, “We have asked the government to formally prosecute Laurent Nkundabatware and his gang for all the crimes perpetrated in the Democratic Republic of Congo."
