The Department of rural Development and Land Reform has announced it is currently looking at ways to speed up the acquisition of land reform and to get it more cheaply.

Minister, Gugile Nkwinti says that methods used to arrive at these strategies include amongst others; case studies of successful experiences locally and internationally and a survey of high-delivery areas in the country.

"Consultations with stakeholders will form part of the general consultative process that will be followed once the report has been approved by cabinet," says Nkwinti.
