The Foundation for Human Rights (FHR) is an independent grantmaker established as an agreement between the Department of Justice and the European Union. The FHR invites applications from civil society organisations for the following proposals:
Human Rights awareness, education and training
The project applications will support human rights campaigns and events to raise awareness of human rights issues.Deadline: 19 July 2004
Human Rights services and Access to Justice Programme
The project applications will offer services in rural areas of North Western Free State and Eastern Free State to include social security, HIV/Aids awareness and counselling, labour issues and consumer issues.
Deadline: 30 July 2004
Security of tenure for Farmdwellers
The project applications will include monitoring of evictions , mediation initiatives, advocacy and lobbying around the rights of farm workers.Deadline: 13 August 2004
