Education Problems Could Deepen Inequalities
A number of NGOs have warned that problems in the education sector will deepen racial and social inequalities in South Africa.
In an open letter to the Department of Basic Education, Legal Resources Centre, SECTION27 and the Centre for Child Law and Equal Education, are calling for an urgent meeting to address what they regarded as problems.
They say the meeting should identify short- and long-term interventions that will ensure the continuation of services and processes, to resolve the many systemic barriers to the provision of education in the country.
