Documenting the Challenges Facing the World’s Youth

In an in-depth report on the problems faced by today’s youth, IRIN traces the impact of the events shaping their lives.

Making reference to the illegal forced marriages of teenage girls in Afghanistan and Ethiopia as well as the the tripling of school fees and the deteriorating education system in Zimbabwe, the report argues that to be young in some nations is to be more disadvantaged than one’s parents were.
