APF Criticises Government Over RDP Houses
Thursday, November 6, 2008 - 11:58
The Anti-Privatisation Forum (APF) has blamed government for the death of a 49-year old Limpopo woman who was crushed to death when a pile of bricks fell on her during a storm that damaged RDP houses in Hoedspruit.
APF spokesperson, Silumko Radebe, said: "It is a fact that the quality of RDP houses is of a poor standard and the government doesn't hide this point."
IOL has quoted Radebe as saying, “A storm is a natural disaster that we don't plan for and it can hit at anytime causing havoc... but for me they (government) are the guilty party”
