Sex Industry: 2010 may raise HIV infections

My concern about this subject is that more young women will be trapped into this because they will think this is the short cut to making money. As you all know that even when this was not legal some young girls left schools to go and make money and I feel it is going to be worse wants it's legalised. Where is our morality and our values. We are destroying our country and it does not mean because other countries are doing this and we must also do it. We need to stand for what is right for the sake of protecting our children and do not destroy their future. We need to be careful and sensitive when we make a decision about this subject. Please do what is right for the sake of our children and the future of this country. We love our country very much and we must do what is right. Did God put us on earth to sell our bodies?
2010 is going to come with good things but it may also come with dangerous things. This is according to the South African National AIDS Council (SANAC).

This view was reiterated by Health Minister, Aaron Motsoaledi, who said after the SANAC plenary meeting that: "I mean, we will be having lots of visitors here, we know there will be lots of visitors who come here for sex, you can’t hide that. It happens and what will be the effects on this country?"

Deputy President, Kgalema Motlanthe, who is the SANAC chairperson, also went onto say its sport and entertainment sector will hold talks next month to examine how the sporting spectacular would be used to focus on HIV/AIDS. Motlanthe further said the talks will also aim at ensuring that the 2010 FIFA World Cup does not result in increased transmission.
