Simon Berry, Colalife

Simon will describe how ColaLife has used ICT in the past and will use ICT in the future. ColaLife is held up as a good practice case study in terms of the way it has used ICT, and social media especially, to achieve its mission. Simon will describe the strategies and tools he has used to date to do this. As ColaLife moves into its trial phase the needs will be different but ICT, including mobile phones and social media, will still play a crucial part and Simon will outline ColaLife's strategy moving forward.

Gustav Praekelt is the founder of Praekelt Digital - a company that develops mobile solutions for emerging markets. His belief in the power of mobile phones to transform Africa inspired him to establish the Praekelt Foundation in 2006. A technology incubator that develops robust, highly scalable mobile solutions for social good, its programmes have reached over 50 million people across 15 countries in Africa.
