Sakhile Youth Empowerment Centre is an NPO which was founded in March 2007 by a number of young people in Sakhile Location and it is also managed by youth together with the executive committee which consists of community members. The centre was funded by the Department of Social Development at the year of 2008. The centre is open to all members of the community especially the youth.

The main objectives of the youth centre are to empower not only the youth, but the community at large in the following:
 

• Offering free of charge computer skills and literacy to the community.
• Offering internet and other various means of communication at cheaper rates.
• Offering various capacity, community and youth building programmes such as Life Skills Programmes, Entrepreneurial Skills, Community Developmental Workshops and campaigns (to instill and encourage the culture of volunteerism in the community)

Assisting unemployed youth and community members in career guidance, job applications, CV writing, typing, faxing and e-mailing services almost free of charge.

The centre would hereby like to apply for sponsorship/donation from your company. We are seeking sponsorship in the following aspects of stationery:

v  Typec A4 papers.

v  Lexmark > X340 Toner cartridge                                                                                                                        >Size 28 black cartridge                                                                                                                         >Size 36 black cartridge.

• Staplers and Staples
• Files
• Diaries

The sponsorship/donation will be greatly appreciated as it will ensure that the centre will be able to pursue its objectives in the community and will also ensure the smooth running of the centre and cater for any expenses that occur to the centre. Your consideration will be highly appreciated.
