Siyakhula Trust is a NGO that assist community leaders, community-based organisations, nonprofit organisations and government officials develop skills so that they can efficiently initiate and manage development and job creation projects to the benefit of the communities they serve.

Siyakhula Trust is conducting the Municipal Finance Management Programme (MFMP) from 14-17 May 2012 in Randburg, Johannesburg.

The purpose of the programme is to interpret the South African legislation and policy affecting municipal financial management.

Who should attend?

In support of the municipal minimum competency regulations, Gazette No 29967 of June 2007, the following officials should attend:

  • Accounting officers;
  • Chief financial officers;
  • Senior managers; and
  • Heads of supply chain management units.

The MFMP programme is accredited with the LGSeta. It has 1 unit standard at level 6 with 8 credits.
