SAFIPA Inaugural Conference

The SA-Finland ICT Knowledge partnership programme (SAFIPA), a bilateral project between the governments of South Africa and Finland, is hosting its inaugural conference from 8-10 June 2009 in Lynwood, Pretoria.

The overall objective of the SAFIPA programme is to support innovation and knowledge generation in the field of information society technologies in South Africa, and to support the creation of an environment which facilitates the development and deployment of information communication technologies (ICT) service applications for the benefit of South African citizens.
