Market Photo Workshop: Women’s Photography Mentorship
The Women’s Photography Mentorship at the Market Photo Workshop is an 8-month mentorship created in 2011 to afford a woman photographer a grant and mentor’s guidance to produce a body of work, aiming at growing the presence of women photographers in the photography landscape.
The Market Photo Workshop invites applications for the Women’s Photography Mentorship, taking place from 6 February to 28 September 2012 in Johannesburg.
The mentorship is a training programme that is uniquely equipped to provide a platform to raise the issues that women face and brings together a collective of women to share in their experiences.
The mentorship grant allows the recipient to produce and exhibit a body of work, and will also assist in covering costs related to research, travel, and other supplies.
