Inyathelo: Advancement and Fundraising Basics Workshop

Inyathelo – The South African Institute for Advancement (SAIIA), a NGO that assists institutions and organisations to develop a professional approach to raising the donor-investment required to advance their objectives, is conducting a course on Advancement and Fundraising Basics from 25-26 June 2009 in Durban.

This workshop offers participants an opportunity to examine the donor world and the strategic management of donor relations. This includes an exploration of why donors contribute to society, how to create an investment climate in your organisation, building relationships with prospective donors and how to maintain those relationships.

Specific skills training is also offered at this workshop including how to write proposals and how to conduct a meeting with a donor.
