Strategic planning is critical in a time of weighing up between financial constraints, and NGOs and CSOs meeting the needs to build a better South Africa. This course will guide the participants through the strategic process thereby ensuring the vision, mission and objectives of your organisation is clearly outlined, coherent and realistic.

In this difficult time strategic planning is critical if we are to sustain ourselves and the important work we do. Civil society organisations are at the crossroads in terms of their contribution to the building of this nation in a climate of political unrest, poor service delivery and a government that is not in tune with the “restlessness of the citizens”. It is also a time when financial constraints are seriously hampering our work both in terms of reach and depth.

DDP is proud to host this course with one of the best facilitators in this field.

Join us for this stimulating opportunity to fine tune your strategic work.

At the end of the three days participants will have:

An understanding of the elements of and steps for engaging in a strategic process
A deeper understanding of the key concepts and capabilities needed for strategic work
Conducted 5 steps of an actual strategic process
Reflected on the value of strategic work and how you might use it.

Target Participation:

Ideally for senior managers and directors of NGOs and CSOs
