IAJ: Project Management

The Institute for the Advancement of Journalism (IAJ) is conducting a two-day course on Project Management from 14-15 May 2009 in Johannesburg.

This is a hands-on workshop with some practice exercises on templates in Microsoft Word and Excel format. These templates will be provided to learners on a CD (and hardcopy in the training manual). Learners are encouraged to bring their laptops along to facilitate real-time group work and presentations. This is a non credit bearing course. The programme will be interactive and participative. The methodology is designed to achieve maximum group participation. It allows the delegates to take away real practical skills, rather than just theoretical knowledge.
