Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance

The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine in association with the Graduate School of Public and Development Management at the University of the Witwatersrand and Medecins Sans Frontiers is offering a Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance from 20 July to 28 August 2009 in Johannesburg.

The programme consists of core modules on key humanitarian issues plus a choice of specialist modules, which are:

  • Public Health in Humanitarian Emergencies
  • Technical Support in Humanitarian Emergencies
  • Policy, Advocacy, Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law

The course is designed and taught by experts from leading NGOs, international organisations and academic institutions.
