DDP: Logical Framework Approach - Designing a Project that Works
Tuesday, March 9, 2010 - 09:55
Projects are designed to address problems faced by beneficiaries, with this in mind the Democracy Development Programme is pleased to announce that we have contracted an expert that has worked extensively within the NGO sector to design a workshop that addresses the project cycle of an organisation using the Logical Framework Approach (LFA).
A properly planned project addressing the real problems of the beneficiaries cannot be achieved without an analysis of the existing situation. The LFA analyses the existing situation as a basis for later planning.
Expected outcome of the workshop
Cost: R1 000 per delegate
Enquiries: Manju Marimuthu, tel: 031 3049305, email manjum@ddpdurban.org.za

Expected outcome of the workshop

- To encompass the different elements in a process of change (problems, objectives, stakeholders, plan for implementation, etc)
- To create an environment of participation/accountability/ownership
- To provide a structure for the dialogue between different stakeholders in a project
- Generate an Operational Plan, indicating costs and budgets of the project which will be used as the basis for drawing up a proposal
