DDP: Logical Framework Approach

DDP: Logical Framework Approach

[ in ]

Projects are designed to address problems faced by beneficiaries, with this in mind the Democracy Development Programme is pleased to announce that we have managed to contract a expert that has worked extensively within the NGO sector to design a workshop that addresses the project cycle of an organisation using the logical framework approach.

A properly planned project addressing the real problems of the beneficiaries cannot be achieved without an analysis of the existing situation. The LFA analyses the existing situation as a basis for later planning.

Expected outcome of the workshop:

  • To empower existing organisations to analytically structure their focus in project planning
  • To encompass the different elements in a process of change (problems, objectives, stakeholders, plan for implementation, etc)
  • To create an environment of participation/accountability/ownership
  • To provide a structure for the dialogue between different stakeholders in a project
  • Generate an Operational Plan, indicating costs and budgets of the project which will be used as the basis for drawing up a proposal
  • Identify potential donors with similar interests

Who will benefit from this workshop?

  • Directors
  • Field workers
  • Project managers / coordinators
  • Administrators
  • Finance and admin staff
  • Operation managers
