The Legal Resources Centre (LRC) is a human rights organisation in South Africa. The organisation uses the law as an instrument of justice for the vulnerable and marginalised, including poor, homeless, and landless people and communities who suffer discrimination by reason of race, class, gender, disability or by reason of social, economic, and historical circumstances.
The LRC is hosting a Comedy Night, a ‘Fun-raising’ evening of stand up comedy hosted by Parker’s Comedy Club on 17 May 2012 in Johannesburg.
The event will leave you in stitches and bring hope to those most in need.
Come and laugh, be entertained and leave knowing you have made a contribution to the LRC’s mission of making the South African Constitution a living promise to all who live in the country.
100 percent of the proceeds will go towards supporting the work of the LRC.
On the line-up to entertain you for this great cause is:
- Tony King;
- Bobby Mair, Canada;
- Dillan Olifant;
- Deep Fried Man.
Ticket Price: R90
