Centre for Human Rights: Masters of Law Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa

Centre for Human Rights
This premier degree is presented in partnership with thirteen African Universities. Students spend the first semester in Pretoria and smaller groups are sent to each partner university for the second semester.
Duration: One year full-time (January to December)
Eligibility: A law degree (e.g. LLB) allowing access to the law profession.
Medium of Instruction: English
Finance: Limited scholarships are available

South African applicants, in particular women and members of minority groups such as indigenous people and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) persons, are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants should demonstrate academic excellence and human rights experience or interest.
