CECS: Practical Introduction to Computers
Community Education Computer Society (CECS) is the oldest information communication technology (ICT) training NGO in South Africa and was established in April 1985 for the technological empowerment of the historically disadvantaged. CECS is also undertaking ICT for Development work in: Botswana; Lesotho; Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia.
CECS is conducting a Practical Introduction to Computers course from Mondays to Thursdays in Johannesburg. CECS courses are accredited by the ISETT Seta (ACC/2008/07/270).
Course Content:
- Typing
- Introduction to Computers
- Microsoft Windows
- Microsoft Word
- Internet Explorer
Course Duration: The course runs for four days Mondays to Thursdays two hourly
Session 1: 12h30-14h30
Session 2: 14h30-16h30
The course fee of R150.00 includes a course manual and the certificate of attendance
