Learn how to tell compelling stories with data visualisation

Learn to tell compelling narratives by transforming your data into information and stories that make sense and matter to your audience.

Understanding numbers and sets of detailed information isn’t easy for everyone, let alone when you’re trying to use that information to tell a story. Anyone who works with data needs to know how to effectively package and present it in ways that make the most sense.

Data visualisation is so much more than just charts, graphs and numerical analysis; it is one of the most powerful forms of storytelling. In a time where misinformation and disinformation is everywhere, having the facts to strengthen your story is more important than ever.
We will cover data storytelling, visualisation, and packaging and presentation – helping you transform your analysis to improve your data storytelling and tell narratives that matter. By the end of the two days, you will be able to take a raw set of data and convert it into a compelling narrative, tailored to suit your audience.

This course is for beginners and will get you thinking differently about working with and telling a story with data, keeping your specific audience in mind. It will provide you with many practical tips & best practise that you can put to use immediately. You do not need specific technical skills to take the course – you will learn everything you need to know over the duration of the course.

Cost: R4,600 excl VAT per participant for the 2 days. Book your seat with a 50% deposit. 10% discount for non-profit organisations.
