2017 has been an exciting and challenging year, but it’s also been a year where there has been continued growth and participation of Equalizers & members in the movement’s activities. From marches to actions, members have shown their unrelenting commitment to the goals they have set.
On Friday 27 October, EE Western Cape will be holding a mass action to call for #SafeSchools, #SafeCommunities and equitable distribution of #PoliceResources in the Western Cape at 3pm from Keizersgracht Street to Parliament.
EE will be marching to call for our provincial and national government to provide the resources and capacity necessary to make Western Cape schools and communities safer for all. For this march, EE will be partnering with Social Justice Coalition, Nyanga Community Policing Forum, National Professional Teachers’ Organisation of South Africa, South African Democratic Teachers’ Union and #UniteBehind, along with its affiliates.
More information can be found on our Facebook page. As we move closer to the end of the year, we look back at some of the other key activities that EE has been involved in so far!
