Youth Development through Investigation and Dissemination of Information (YDIDI)

Thus far we’ve hosted these National Youth Opportunities Pop-Up Workshops in the Freestate, Gauteng, Mpumalanga, and Kwazulu-Natal however not enough young people were reached due to limited resources.

In the last nine (9) months through one of our partners we’ve managed to dispense over 2000 scholarships to 2000 youths between the ages of 18 and 28 throughout South Africa as part of our National Youth Opportunities Pop-Up Workshops exercise. That’s a total spend of over R64milion in scholarships awarded.

The workshops together with the Ad-hoc Youth Opportunity Blitz pop-up presentations will take place in Umlazi, KwaMashu and Durban Central from 21 to 23 September 2017 respectively.
The Ad-hoc Youth Opportunity Blitz are designed to be no more than 45 minutes high school presentations intended to agitate compelling interest among Grade 12 learners about available opportunities and them into correct initial action of finding opportunities.
The main Youth Opportunities Workshop is an in-depth and extensive 3 to 5 hour programme that will cover Personal Mastery, Critical Thinking, Opportunity Analysis & Acquisition and Scholarship Applications.
We have set aside 1500 scholarships each valued at R32400 all totaling an overall amount of R48,600,000.00 from iCollege to award to under-privileged and vulnerable youths in attendance between the ages of 18 to 27 in possession of grade 10/11/12 / matric certificate throughout KwaZulu-Natal to study and pursue any of the 12  NQF level courses (IT; A+; N+; S+; PR; HR; Public Admin; Project Management; Call Centre; Business Admin; Marketing) offered by the institution.
