Join Adopt-a-School Foundation as we go Back to School for a Day on Mandela Day for a 67-minute programme of meaningful collaborative volunteering.
On 18 July, Adopt-a-School Foundation will host a range of volunteer activities at Bathabile Primary School in Olievenhoutsbosch in Midrand. All activities revolve around the foundation's holistic Whole School Development model and will include: light infrastructure renovations, curricular, and co-curricula activities, social welfare programmes, and leadership development initiatives.
R25,000: Five activity stations - 67 minutes - 30 to 50 volunteers - all resources.
R7,500: One activity station - 67 minutes - four to 10 volunteers - all resources.
100% of the proceeds go directly to supporting Bathabile Primary School - spaces are limited.
Bathabile is a Primary School offering grades R to 7, with 1,446 registered learners and no permanent structures. The school operates from container classrooms, is a Quintal 1 (no fee paying) school, and services a community characterised by extreme poverty, high levels of unemployment, with most of the learners coming from migrant families and/or child-headed households. The school, itself, has an exceptional principal, teaching staff and a dedicated school governing body and school management team.
For 67 minutes, your team will be thoroughly engaged in meaningful, collaborative activities, designed to educate, inspire and care for the primary school learners and add value to the development of the school.
