Understanding Partial, Delayed and Non-Disclosure of Child Sexual Abuse Course

Jo`burg Child Welfare

Jo’burg Child Welfare (JCW) is a non-profit organisation (NPO) founded in 1909. Originally known as the ‘Children’s Aid Society’, it was founded by a group of concerned citizens in 1909, after the then Mayoress had found a group of destitute children on the streets of the then mining town and had taken them into her own home.
To date, we provide a range of direct services to abused (physical, sexual and emotional), abandoned, neglected, orphaned and vulnerable children (including those who are infected or have been affected by HIV and AIDS) in the Greater Johannesburg area.
We have a wide range of services rendered by the organization to communities in the greater Johannesburg area and training by Aganang Training Centre and the Child Abuse Treatment and Training Services.
