Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine
Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM), founded in 1898, was the first institution in the world dedicated to research and teaching in the field of tropical medicine. As a registered charity, LSTM works across the world, often in very difficult circumstances, to fulfil its mission of reducing the burden of sickness and mortality in disease endemic countries. It does that through the delivery of effective interventions which improve human health and are relevant to the poorest communities.
LSTM is conducting a course on Introduction to Travel Health from 6-8 February 2017 in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
The three-day course is aimed at practice nurses, general practitioners and pharmacists with an interest in travel medicine, who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in carrying out travel health risk assessments and how to provide travel health advice.
The course will cover the fundamentals of travel health and highlight any advances in the field of travel medicine.
