The South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association (SAMEA)
The South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association (SAMEA) in partnership with the learning and development unit of the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) is hosting its second Evaluation Café on 1 June 2015 in VCR's Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban.
The Evaluation Cafés are designed to showcase planned, on-going or completed evaluation related work with exciting speakers on evaluation that provide thought-provoking, interesting topical and practical insights into the evaluation process. The Evaluation Cafés are a platform to encourage dialogue on a specific topic among those interested in Evaluation. At the first Evaluation Café it was highlighted that the content of future Evaluation Cafes will be informed by key topics and issues that emanate from previous Evaluation Cafes. The discussion is thereafter continued via SAMEA talk.
The café will include a presentation by Mr Terence Beney on Monitoring and Evaluation Methodologies and the use of both quantitative and qualitative methods when undertaking different types of evaluations.
Time: 12h30 to 13h30
