Trialogue’s CSI Conference 2015 takes place on Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 May 2015, at The Wanderers Club, Illovo, Johannesburg. It is our eighth conference, and we are making sure the event will be as exciting as ever.
This year we are calling on development practitioners to Make It Different: to create change by embracing innovation and learning from others. If what we are doing is not getting the results we are aiming for, it is time to take bold steps. We will showcase organisations doing it right (and how they can do it better) and share fresh ideas and trends to inspire you.
You can look forward to exciting plenary discussions, live debates, a Dragon's Den-style pitching session, "quick slides" information presentations, case studies and engaging panel discussions.
The five breakaway session streams will cover these themes:
- Global trends
- Improving education
- Tools for development
- Financing and funding
- Working with communities
Our exciting line-up of speakers includes social activist and entrepreneur Dr Madhav Chavan, who’s Co-founder and CEO of Pratham India, the biggest educational nonprofit organisation in India. There’s also Fatima Adam from the Zenex Foundation; Garth Japhet, Heartlines CEO and forgood Chairman; Mthobeli Tengimfene, Executive Head of the Vodacom Foundation; Refiloe Seseane, voice-over artist, TV actress, presenter, and business woman; plus many more.
