2012 World Congress of NGOs

The World Association of Non-Governmental Organisations (WANGO) is an international organisation uniting NGOs worldwide in the cause of advancing peace and global well being. WANGO helps to provide the mechanism and support needed for NGOs to connect, partner, share, inspire, and multiply their contributions to solve humanity’s basic problems.

Initiated in 2000 by a handful of international NGOs and prominent visionaries, WANGO has quickly become one of the premier international bodies for non-governmental organisations that are committed to the ideals of universal peace, justice, and well being for all humanity.

WANGO is hosting the 2012 World Congress of NGOs under the theme ‘The role of NGOs in Times of Global Crises’ from 5-8 July 2012 in Nairobi, Kenya.

The congress will bring together NGO representatives from around the world, as well as prominent international and national leaders from the governmental, intergovernmental and for-profit sectors.
