Embassy Hold AWEP Capacity Building Workshops

AWEP Botswana Chapter holds a series of National Capacity Building workshops with a focus on entrepreneurial training and create awareness on AGOA opportunities

The African Women’s Entrepreneurship Programme (AWEP) Botswana Chapter will hold a series of National Capacity Building workshops with a focus on entrepreneurial training and create awareness on African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) opportunities.

The US Ambassador to Botswana Earl R. Miller will officially launch the first workshop in Maun this month and thereafter, AWEP Botswana will go to Ghantsi, Molepolole, Tsabong, Francistown, Selebi Phikwe and Palapye.

AWEP is one of the 48 Chapters in Africa and it identifies and builds networks of women entrepreneurs across sub-Saharan Africa poised to transform their societies by owning, running and operating small, medium and large businesses, and by becoming voices for social advocacy in their communities.
