Jo'burg Child Welfare (JCW) is a nonprofit organisation caring for abused, abandoned, neglected, orphaned and vulnerable children for 100 years. Its vision is to create a caring Johannesburg community that protects all of the children, meeting their needs for love, safety and opportunity. JCW provides direct services to children aged 0–18 and through its Orphaned and Vulnerable Children (OVC) forum, and assists community-based organisations in providing services to orphaned and vulnerable children within the communities they serve.

LifeLine/Childline Western Cape is an organisation of skilled lay counsellors who are there to assist callers and clients facing a crisis in their lives. The role of organisation is to create a safe space for people to share what is happening in their lives.
 
LifeLine/Childline Western Cape seeks to appoint a Registered Social Worker focusing on training, based in the Wynberg.
 
This is a fixed-term contract position.

The Social Worker will work in five courts as part of their Child Witness Project, offering therapeutic support to child cictims and their families.
