Right to Care: Medical Advisors

Right to Care is a Johannesburg based nonprofit (section 21 company), funded by USAID with a vision that all HIV-positive patients receive high quality treatment, care and support improving their quality of life and productivity.

Right to Care seeks to appoint two Medical Advisors, based at Helen Joseph Hospital, Gauteng and Thabo Mofutsanyane District in Free State.

The person will report to the Provincial Programme Manager.

St Joseph’s Home for Chronically Ill Children is a private, but state funded home that provides convalescent care and medical services for up to 145 children who suffer from chronic and debilitating illnesses. To this end St Joseph’s Home has four dedicated wards plus our Sunflower HIV ward.

St Joseph’s Home seeks to appoint a Speech Therapist in its the Rehab Therapy team, based in Cape Town.

AIDS Foundation of South Africa: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

The AIDS Foundation of South Africa (AFSA) is a well-respected NGO that acts as an interface between donors and Community Based Organisations (CBO’s) working in the HIV/AIDS sector by placing donor funds with strategically selected CBOs and providing them with ongoing management, technical support and capacity building. 

AFSA seeks to appoint Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer, based at its offices in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal - only applicants based in KZN will be considered.

This is a fixed term contract until March 2016.

NACOSA seeks to appoint a Project Manager to work in Limpopo, Gauteng and Mpumalanga. The position would be based in Johannesburg or Pretoria, Gauteng.

Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation: Data Clerk

The Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation (DTHF) is a registered nonprofit organisation focused on the pursuit of excellence in research, treatment, training and prevention of HIV and related infections in Southern Africa. 

The DTHF seeks to appoint a Data Clerk, based at the DTHF Research Annex, Masiphumelele Clinic, Pokela Rd, Masiphumelele, Cape Town

The purpose of this position is to maintain the City of Cape Town and DTHF Masiphumelele antiretroviral database for reporting and research purposes. This is a full-time, one-year contract position.
