Physical, Sexual Abuse High in Africa

African countries have some of the highest levels of physical and sexual violence against women in the world, a report has found.
About 45.6 percent of women in Africa experienced physical and sexual violence, compared to 35 percent globally, according to a research is a collaboration between the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the South African Medical Research Council (MRC).
