Effective Philanthropy - Organisational Success Through Deep Diversity and Gender Equality

In 'Effective Philanthropy - Organisational Success Through Deep Diversity and Gender Equality,' the authors offer strategies for strengthening organisations through a commitment to diversity and gender equality. Capek and Mead's research shows that institutionalising a more nuanced understanding of what they call "deep diversity" allows organisations to make full use of all the resources they have available, both inside and outside their doors.

Africa 2007

The 7th edition of Africa 2007 is out and can be purchased from AllAfrica.com. The book has been described as an excellent, inexpensive reference work that documents the history, geography and politics of Africa and its 53 nations. It carefully balances its information on each nation impartially but with total frankness and without succumbing to the verbal diarrhoea from which many books on the subject suffer.
