Common Good: Writer

Common Good is looking for a part-time writer to join our Communications team on a fixed term contract until the end of December 2020.

As a social justice NPO, it is imperative that we demonstrate how our work is contributing to positive and lasting change. Storytelling is a key component in both documenting and celebrating that impact it articulates action, fuels hope and motivates our efforts. In a hurting nation, Common Good desires to tell stories of transformation that are taking place through our Early Life, Education and Employment initiatives.

Scripture Union: South Africa Regional Directors

Scripture Union South Africa has two Regional Director (RD) opportunities available,
one in Cape Town and the other in Gauteng.

SU is needing to find outstanding key senior Christian leaders who are excellently qualified and have
a calling to ministry with young people. The ministry impact of the two regional operations
(Cape Town and Gauteng) is critical as they are two of SU’s key strategic centres.

The True Value of Homegrown Entrepreneurs

This past month has been an insightful journey here at The RealStart Trust, starting with the first phase of our Entrepreneurship Programme. It’s great to get the theory down, but as all well know, the real learning starts when you get practical.

Walking with the students as they critically engage with perceptions around their own skills and dreams, business and the opportunities in their communities, has not only brought some valuable insight to the table, but also raised interesting questions.

The Parent Centre:Community Development Worker

The Parent Centre is a Non-Profit Organisation, primary preventative organization, based in Wynberg Cape Town, offering comprehensive parenting counselling, education and support services.
 
The employment opportunity for community-based work with teenage parents and care-givers, and father of all ages, is open to suitably qualified applicants who have at least 2 year's experience working with youth and families.

The Parent Centre seeks to appoint a Community Development Worker to be based in Cape Town.
