Khululeka Grief Support is a dynamic Cape Town based NGO working in the child sector across South Africa. We are passionate about growing the emotional wellbeing of children and adolescents. Khululeka programmes include adult workshops on recognising and supporting grieving children and adolescents, and support groups for children and adolescents.

We're passionate about addressing issues of social justice that challenge our city. They seek to make a positive and lasting impact in the areas of early life, education and employment, so that individuals and communities across Cape Town can build brighter futures for themselves.

The Goedgedacht Trust: Fundraising Manager

The Goedgedacht Trust, established in 1993, is a farm-based community support organisation situated in the Swartland region of the Western Cape. Goedgedacht, the Cape Dutch farm that is home to the Trust, dates from the early 18th century and lies on the slopes of the Kasteelberg, some 85km north of Cape Town.Since 2016 the Care for the Planet Programme has focused on using small scale organic food gardens as a tool for social transformation. The gardens are not an end in themselves but a means to an end which is social change.

The Open Circle Alexandra hospital grounds:Enrolled nurse

The Open Circle is a Group home for 30 adults with Intellectual Disability and Challenging behavior that was established in January 2015 on the grounds of Alexandra Hospital in Maitland. This Pilot project aims to integrate 30 residents with challenging behavior that do not meet referral criteria of other Homes in the community, in a less-restrictive, homely environment.

The Parent Centre is a Non-Profit, primary preventive organization, based in Wynberg Cape Town, offering comprehensive parenting counselling, education and support services.

 The Parent Centre seeks to appoint a Community Development Worker Facilitator of Teen Parenting and Fatherhood Programmes  to be based in Cape Town.

This employment opportunity for community-based work with teenage parents and care-givers, and fathers of all ages, is open to suitably qualified applicants who have at least 2 year’s experience working with youth and families.
