Junior Doctors Speak Out! The Rights and Occupational Safety of Junior Doctors

The People's Health Movement South Africa ( will be hosting a public meeting on the rights and occupational safety of junior doctors.

The panel discussion and public debate will focus on the working conditions on interns and junior doctors in the South African health system.

Philani: Research Coordinator

Philani Maternal, Child Health and Nutrition Project is a community based NGO (change to non-profit), operating in the informal settlements surrounding Cape Town and in the rural OR Tambo district of the Eastern Cape. Two maternal and child health research projects are currently being run by Philani in the Eastern Cape: Zithulele Births Follow up Study (ZiBFUS) and Zithulele Mother-to-Be Assessment (ZiMBA).
