It is critical that we as South Africans do whatever possible to force the Egyptians to open the Rafah crossing for the people of Gaza to obtain medical supplies and other necessities. Please join the demonstration calling for this at the Egyptian Embassy on Friday starting at 2:00pm and add your voice to the struggle of the Palestinians. Posters and placards available at the demo. SAOSO: Knowledge and Monitoring and Evaluation (KME) Officer: Knowledge Hub for Organic Agriculture

SAOSO is a NATIONAL non-profit organisation consisting of individuals, groups, and organisations of people throughout Mzanzi, who identify with the aims of SAOSO.SAOSO has launched a set of South African Organic standards, that are supported by key stakeholders within the Organic sector.​The standards will allow for consolidation of the Organic sector in South Africa and furthermore, will allow for ethical access by farmers to the marketplace.

The Goedgedacht Trust: Manager: Care For The Planet Programme

The Goedgedacht Trust, established in 1993, is a farm-based community support organisation situated in the Swartland region of the Western Cape. Goedgedacht, the Cape Dutch farm that is home to the Trust, dates from the early 18th century and lies on the slopes of the Kasteelberg, some 85km north of Cape Town.Since 2016 the Care for the Planet Programme has focused on using small scale organic food gardens as a tool for social transformation. The gardens are not an end in themselves but a means to an end which is social change.

SANAC:Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

The SANAC Civil Society Forum (CSF) is a formal advisory body established in 2012 by the South African National AIDS Council to facilitate the participation of Civil Society Organisations and networks, including those representing People Living with HIV, in the HIV and AIDS and TB within the National HIV response and for the implementations thereof National Strategic Plan (NSP) 2012-2016 through Sectors.

CER:Life After Coal Campaign Coordinator

The Life After Coal/Impilo Ngaphandle Kwamalahle campaign is a well-established joint campaign by Earthlife AfricagroundWork, and the Centre for Environmental Rights. We aim to discourage the development of new coal-fired power stations and mines; reduce emissions from existing coal infrastructure and encourage a coal phase-out; and enable a just transition to sustainable energy systems for the people.

My Vote Counts:Director

My Vote Counts (MVC) is a non-profit organisation that works towards improving transparency, accountability and inclusiveness in South Africa’s political and electoral systems. The organisation was formally registered in 2014 and has made an impact in ensuring that South Africans are a step closer to understanding who pays for our politics and focussing on ways in which we can hold our elected representatives to account. 

MVC seeks to appoint Director to be based in Cape Town.

SCB: Projects Manager

Sustainable Coffee Bay (SCB) was formally started in 2011, but grew out of the projects that have been run informally by Coffee Shack Backpackers as far back as 2002. SCB has three major focus areas: Early Childhood Development, Education and Youth Development, and Rural Assistance. This organisation is still closely associated with Coffee Shack Backpackers.

SCB seeks to appoint a Projects Manager to be based in Eastern Cape, South Africa.
