Measurement of Juvenile Justice

'Measurement of Juvenile Justice' manual has been developed by the United Nations Children's Fund and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

Developed in consultation with NGOs and individual experts, the manual provides a set of fifteen indicators of core importance to juvenile justice. The fifteen indicators have been refined through field-testing in a number of countries and are endorsed by the Interagency Juvenile Justice Panel. This manual explains how to use the indicators in practice.

Open Disclosure Foundation

The Open Disclosure Foundation (ODF) was established in 2002 by Andile Carelse, a kwaito artist, who openly revealed in 2001 her painful past of being sexually abused as a child. She created the Foundation to provide survivors of abuse with a sustainable programme aimed at assisting them in the path of healing.

Drive to Eliminate Maternal and Child Deaths

Deliver Now is a major new advocacy drive to eliminate maternal and child deaths and improve the health of women and children around the world. More than 10 million women and children die every year. The overwhelming majority of these deaths can be prevented with greater access to basic health resources. You may add your name and voice to the Deliver Now campaign. Your name will be added to a list of the growing global community who believes that 10 million mothers and children dying every year is too many to ignore.

African Fathers

A new campaign launched, Father's Day, 17 June, aims to improve the well-being of children and families by increasing the proportion of children growing up with involved, responsible, and committed fathers.

Too rarely, do we hear of the stories of positive role models, the children who say that without Dad, life just would not be the same.
