The Community Development Resource Centre (CDRA) is conducting a five-day course on Supporting Sovereign Local Organisations from 20–24 July 2009 in Cape Town.
This is a five-day course working with the core concepts, frameworks and elements of an organisation development practice. The course is aimed at helping experienced practitioners or leaders, in any field, to help them to build a more effective practice for supporting the development of sovereign local organisations.
In his 2003 State of the Nation Address, President Thabo Mbeki remarked: “As we continue to respond to the challenge to put our shoulders to the wheel to accelerate the pace of change, we reiterate the appeal to all our people to sustain the Letsema Volunteer Campaign and respond to the call – vuk’uzenzele!”
