“Making ICTs work for Food Security in Africa”, is a report that explores how the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) such as fixed-line and mobile phones and Internet services, can make a significant contribution to reducing poverty in Africa.

The report ssesses the current availability of ICTs in Africa, discusses opportunities for ICTs in promoting food security, and recommendations on how to better promote ICT development. It also recommends measures to promote ICT related capacity building through government, private and civil society collaboration.
